This page is a collection of my appearances on various platforms from across the Internet. I try to keep it up to date but I don’t always succeed.

I’ve been a contributor to the online public history forum r/AskHistorians for over eight years, so it’s not very surprising that I’ve made a few appearances on their media.

I also hosted an AMA on the platform to discuss The Medieval Crossbow.

I was interviewed about my book The Medieval Crossbow for the AskHistorians Podcast, click here to listen.

I also chaired a panel on historical fiction and the representation of history for the 2021 AskHistorians Digital Conference.

I was interviewed by Liz from Beyond Solitaire about games, history, and my podcast series We Intend to Move on Your Works.

I am a frequent guest on the YouTube Channel and podcast for Homo Ludens. I’ve selected some episodes below.

I also release my podcast We Intend to Move on Your Works via the Homo Ludens podcast feed. You can find the episodes on most major platforms or on this website at: https://www.stuartellisgorman.com/blog/category/Podcast.

I was interviewed about my book for the New Books Network podcast. We covered a lot of the main themes and topics contained in the book, making it a great place to sample the book’s contents:

The popular crafting YouTube channel had me as a guest for their episode where they attempt to make a crossbow from scratch. I was interviewed about the history of the crossbow and got to contribute to a really cool video.

You can see the original video, including my abridged interview, here:

They also uploaded a separate video of my full interview here:

I also have a second podcast called Let’s Talk About Crossbows. Episodes are incredibly infrequent, but you can here them here:
